This year’s fair is complete with pari-mutuel horse racing, simulcast racing, carnival midway, livestock and agricultural exhibits, antique tractors & machinery, arts & crafts and dancing under the hill country sky.

The Fairgrounds are located at 530 Fair Drive on Highway 16, 2 miles south of Fredericksburg, between Fredericksburg and Kerrville, Texas

Thursday, August 26.
Fairground Gates open at 5 p.m.
Carnival and Midway open 5 p.m.

Friday, August 27.
121st GILLESPIE COUNTY FAIR Parade –Main Street in Fredericksburg – 10 a.m.
Fairground gates open after the parade.
Gillespie County Fair Queen Contest – 7 p.m.
Dance - 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. - Darrell McCall and Tennessee Volunteers
Carnival opens 12 noon to midnight

Saturday, August 28.
Fairground Gates open –10 a.m.
Carnival opens 11 a.m.
Pari-mutuel horse races – Post time is 1 p.m.
Dance - 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. - Gary P. Nunn with special guest Jake Hooker & his band

Sunday, August 29.
Fairground gates open – 10 a.m.
Carnival opens 11 a.m.
Pari-mutuel horse races – Post time 1 p.m.
